Beautiful Simplicity

Love is in the air people!  I'm getting a few wedding cake orders and I couldn't be more thrilled!  I also have some changes coming to the site soon and can't wait to share them with you.

Remember that Camping Groom's Cake I made a few weeks back?  Well, this is the wedding cake I made to go with it.  The cake was vanilla cake with strawberry preserve filling and cream cheese frosting, and covered in white Satin Ice rolled fondant.  The cake was finished with 2in satin turquoise ribbon and a few white roses, daisies, and fern leaves.

Before the flowers

I would like to thank a few very special people who helped make this happen.  Thank you, Stephanie & Ryan, for allowing me to be a part of your very special day!  I'm so happy we are family now, Steph!

Thank you, Bren, for being the best Mom-in-Law/assistant on the wedding day.  I couldn't have done this without you!

Thank you, Drew, for allowing me to take up all of the space in our cozy kitchen and dining room while preparing both of these massive cakes.  I know it took some serious patience on your part.  For real.  Thanks.  And...don't tell anyone, but...I LOVE YOU!

With love, Ev

Beautiful cake! I think I like it better before you added the flowers. It's still beautiful either way.
